YPC International College awarded the Excellent Award for Education in the 2019 Sin Chew Awards

YPC International College has been awarded the Sin Chew Education Award 2019 in outstanding educational institutions, private universities and colleges category.

The award was presented by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong  to YPC Principal Datuk Noel Robert in an auspicious ceremony held at Setia Convention Center, Shah Alam recently (Friday 25 Jan, 2019)

 Sin Chew Education Award is positioned as one of the most trusted and prestigious education Awards in Malaysia with emphasis on best and excellent private colleges and universities ` contribution to the society.

Present were also the panel Chief Judge Mr Koong Lin Loong and other judges including Dr M. Rajalingam, Datuk Eric Chong, Ms Lenny Chiah, and Dato Michael Tio.

Meanwhile, Liew Vui Keong in his keynote address thanked the universities and colleges for their contribution to the development of the country and congratulated all the winners.

He also pointed out that even though Malaysia is rich in natural resources, only through adequate education and proper “human capital” we can reach development and prosperity.

According to Dr Noel Robert, YPC International College is very unique as it provides affordable education for every one, especially those from low income families.

“We believe that through education we open a bridge for their future success.

“ We are very honored to receive this award and we will continue to expand our horizons.

“YPC stands out for its quality education. We encourage our students to be involved in community engagement and team work so that they can develop leadership, communication skills and project management skills which prepare them for the current and future job markets,” Dr Noel said after receiving the prestigious award.

Through its partnership with Liverpool John Moores University in United Kingdom, YPC teaches UK degree programmes that are internationally recognized. Students at YPC study the same degree syllabus and programmes and get the same qualifications as students from LJMU, UK.

Sin Chew education awards is a  recognition of the immense contribution of educational institutions which provide education opportunities in Malaysia for both Malaysian Students and International Students to make Malaysia as a one stop education hub.

YPC won this award among many local, private universities and colleges for providing excellent education that contributes to the betterment of the industry and to the overall economic development of the nation.
