JOHOR BAHRU: Loh Chuan Chew, 19, has today voted for the first time in his life in the Johor state election.

A statement posted on the Facebook of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Sri Saifuddin bin Abdullah, said “Loh Chuan is very excited for the first time casting his vote.”

“Well done! Brother Loh for fulfilling your responsibility for the sake of the Johor Nation,” the Minister said in the post.

Around 173,000 young voters aged between 18 and 20 will be voting today for the first time in the Johor state election, following the “Undi 18” Bill that lowered the minimum voting age from 21 to 18.
