PUTRAJAYA: Even though the USA is a big power they cannot belittle or humiliate Malaysia, as “we have our pride and dignity” too, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.
Malaysia has never asked loan from the United States of America (USA) and in many cases, they ask us to buy airplanes and invest in their country, he added.
“Malaysia can be a model for other countries as we have our pride and strength, and as such, all Muslims must be united.
” If Muslims do not want Baitu Al Maqdis to be taken by the Zionists then all 1.6 billion Muslims in the world should be united,” Najib said.
Najib was speaking in front of thousands of Malaysians present at the Malaysian Muslim Solidarity Assembly near Putrajaya mosque on Friday.
The Prime Minister said, he was received very well by the White House and President Donald Trump on his official visit to the US recently, but that does not mean he can mortgage the sanctity and the interests of Islam.
Najib said the assembly will not end there as the organizer of the Muslim Solidarity Assembly has decided to have it in all the mosques around the country in the third week of every month.
“Now we witness a “Muslim awakening tsunami” to unite and have solidarity among Muslims in Malaysia and around the world,” Najib reiterated.
All Muslims Najib said, must embrace the spirit of Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi to safe the Baitu Al Maqdis, the Palestinians and end the Zionists’ cruelties.
