US President Joe Biden denies allegations that USA has chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine and Europe.

He said Russian accusations that Kyiv has biological and chemical weapons are false.

Putin’s “ asserting that we in America have biological as well as chemical weapons in Europe, simply not true,” said Biden at an event today.

“They are also suggesting that Ukraine has biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. That’s a clear sign he’s considering using both of those, ” he added.

Russia claims that Ukraine has a biological weapons program.

Russia’s defence ministry has accused Ukraine of planning a chemical attack against its own people in order to accuse Moscow of using chemical weapons in the invasion of Ukraine that began on February 24.

Earlier this month, the White House warned Russia of consequences if it uses chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine. However, the White House did not specify what those consequences would be.

However, on March 8, the US government’s Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland (pic right) testified before a Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on Ukraine in Washington DC, and admitted that USA do have “biological reasearch facilities” in Ukraine.

“Does Ukraine have chemical or biological weapons?,” Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) asked her.

Nuland:: “Uh, Ukraine has, uh, biological research facilities.”

She also warned that “Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of [those labs].

“So we are working with the Ukrainiahhhns [sic] on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,” she added.

Russia’s invasion, which it calls a “special military operation” to disarm Ukraine, has caused massive destruction to Ukraine.
