Umno, opposition parties rejected Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s bipartisan offer

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Muhyiddin’s bipartisan offer is an open admission that he has no majority support in the parliament.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, in a special address yesterday, called upon all the opposition parties, including those Umno MPs who are opposing him to join and cooperate with the current government to manage and battle the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister also insists that currently there is no MP who can prove he has the majority support to enable the King to appoint him as the new prime minister.

Pakatan Harapan (PH) also rejected Muhyiddin’s offer to cooperate and work together with PN government and demanded Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to resign.
