UK donates 415,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR AUG.3: The United Kingdom (UK) Government’s donation of 415,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine has arrived today after the
Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Dominic Raab announced the good news five days ago.
 
Senior Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein
said, the donation of the vaccines was announced by his counterpart Dominic
Raab last week and had arrived safely in Malaysia today.
 
“The arrival of the vaccines was also witnessed by the Coordinating Minister of
the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, Khairy Jamaluddin and
Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba.
 
“We extend our gratitude and thanks to Dominic Raab and the United Kingdom
Government for the donation as it will be fully utilised in the ongoing National
COVID-19 Immunisation Programme,” Hishammuddin said in his Facebook
