TEHRAN: The Former Commander Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affirmed that the current Iranian missile launcher is prepared and ready to be launched at any time to face possible potential counter attack made by Israel.
“The air defence system in Tehran has also made its preparation at the highest level,” Mohammad Esmaeil Kowsari said on Tuesday.
According to him, many Iranian missile launchers have not been used.
“We will not hesitate to be active if the Zionist regime miscalculated on us. The destroying power of the new generation of Iranian missiles will surely make the world in a stage of shock,” he explained.
For the first time the missile attack launched by Iran has succeeded to sharply break through the air defence system of Tel Aviv and hit the target.
Meanwhile, the Haaretz News reported that the rain of missiles had caused damages in Negev, Sharon and several locations that store Israel’s military facilities.
Earlier the Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi said the Islam Republic’s operation on the Zionist military and security base was a self-defence and warning that it will retaliate more aggressively if Israel regime launches a counter attack.
“On Tuesday afternoon we had implemented our self-defence under Article 51 United Nations Charter targeting only military and security areas that had been responsible for genocides in Gaza and Lebanon,” Araghchi wrote in his media social account X post with photos of Gaza that was destroyed caused by the war.
“We did that after nearly two months of constraints to give space for ceasefire in Gaza.
“Our actions have ended except if Israel regime decides to have a further counter attack and in such situation, our counter attack will be harder and more powerful,” he said.
“Now Israel’s supporters have a bigger responsibility to control the parties that have instigated to have war in Tel Aviv from being involved in the foolish actions,” said the highest ranking Iranian diplomat in his social media post. – Agency
