PARLIAMENT 21 Oct 2016 – While the Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak was representing the budget 2017 in Parliament the opposition MPs walked out displaying placards on which written ‘Siapa MO1?’ (Who is MO1?).
Among the opposition MPs was the former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who is now the president of the new opposition party Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia ( PPBM).
“They have embarrassed themselves in the eyes of the public. I think the rakyat can evaluate their character,” comment the Prime Minister Najib.
MO1 or `Malaysian Official 1` refers to a Malaysian high ranked official who is being allegedly accused by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) of having siphoned off RM2.6 billion ( about $700) from Malaysia 1MDB to the USA.
