The Covid-19 plague may last for 7 years. The seven years will be years of famine, scarcity and dearth.

“The dearth will be in all lands; but in all the land of Malaysia and Brunei there will be still bread and peace,” a predictor said.

The seven years of famine and wolf has already began for almost a year, and famine already begun in many countries, such as Yemen, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Bangladesh, Venezuela, and many other countries.

The epidemic is a major disaster for the world. Millions of people have been infected. Thousands died. And the list of causalities and cases are on the rise day by day. Airports, mosques, temples, cinemas, factories, schools are closed. The economy is dying and people are starving and dying with it too.

According to BBC News, the World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that the world faces a possible “hunger pandemic” as the number of people most in need of food could almost double this year. At the end of 2019, 135 million people were living with “acute hunger”. But with many countries around the world enforcing quarantine, that number is likely to rise to 265 million, the WFP says.

“Before the coronavirus even became an issue, I was saying that 2020 would be facing the worst humanitarian crisis since World War Two for a number of reasons,” WFP executive director David Beasley said on Tuesday.

A recent report by the Guardian also stressed, the world is facing widespread famine “of biblical proportions” because of the coronavirus pandemic, the chief of the UN’s food relief agency has warned, with a short time to act before hundreds of millions starve. More than 30 countries in the developing world could experience widespread famine, and in 10 of those countries there are already more than 1 million people on the brink of starvation, said David Beasley, executive director of the World Food Programme.

“We are not talking about people going to bed hungry,” he told the Guardian in an interview. “We are talking about extreme conditions, emergency status – people literally marching to the brink of starvation. If we don’t get food to people, people will die.”

But what Science is saying

The coronavirus pandemic may last until 2022, according to a report.

Researchers at the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) suggest that the COVID-19 outbreak won’t end until 60% to 70% of the human population is immune to the virus, which may take between 18 and 24 months.

“This thing’s not going to stop until it infects 60 to 70% of people,” Michael Osterholm, report author and the director of CIDRAP, told CNN. “The idea that this is going to be done soon defies microbiology.”
