KUALA LUMPUR: Without other countries ‘collaboration to find and arrest fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, Malaysian Police is like “clapping with one hand” – one hand never claps.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said the authorities in the country where the fugitive is hiding seems to be not cooperating sincerely with Malaysia Authority to extradite him.
“The cooperation between Malaysia and that country should have been based on returning the favour, however, I view the other party as insincere in helping us to bring home Jho Low, and I’m really disappointed by this,” he told reporters today.
Abdul Hamid, however, did not want to tell which country he was referring to.
The IGP added that he is still at his promise to bring Low home before the end of this year.
“I will not give up and use every possible way to bring Jho Low back into the country to face the law,” he said.
