The body of Malaysian drowned at the beach resort in Bali arrived Friday via MH852 – MOFA


 

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian tourist who was reported missing had died after the local authorities at Pulau Nusa Penida Diamond Beach, Bali, Indonesia found him drowned on 28th Dec.2022.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said the Malaysian had been confirmed dead after he was found drowned and reported missing on 27th Dec.2022 while trying to safe two foreign tourists who were about to be drowned at the beach of the resort before he was drafted away by the waves.

“The body of the victim had arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 30th Dec.10.15pm via flight MH852,” said the Ministry in its statement.

The statement added, MOFA through the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta had given the necessary consular’s assistance to ease the management of the body including coordinating with the local authorities to enable the body to be taken back immediately.

“The Ministry would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and hope the family will stay calm in facing this difficult time,” the statement said. –Malaysia World News
