Taylor University has been ranked as the fourth best university in the world and Asia’s best for graduate employability, according to the 2019 QS Graduate Employability Rankings.
Taylor’s University vice- chancellor and president, Prof Michael Driscoll said this achievement was a testament to the strong relationship that Taylor’s has nurtured with employers.
“This latest achievement comes on the heels of our strong performance in the area of employer reputation in the 2019 QS World University Rankings, which saw us place at the 216th rank internationally, or within the top 1 per cent of tertiary institutions in the world favoured by employers; which is testament to the quality of graduates we produce.”
“Taylor’s is the only Malaysian private university to be listed in the top 10 universities in Malaysia in both the QS World University Rankings and the QS Asia University Rankings. We are also now the only private university to be recognised for its graduate employment rate.
“These achievements were built on the hard work and dedication of its entire staff,” Prof Michael was quoted as saying by the Star Online.
Before going to workplace, students are required to attend workshops touching on topics like interview skills, executive presence, ethics and etiquette at the workplace.
