Almost nude photos of Tatto models at Malaysia Tattoo Expo 2019 went viral today on social media with several people condemning the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry which is said to be supporting this event.
The event was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre over the weekend from 29th to 30th November.
The issue was discussed in Parliament today.
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik denied the ministry supports such nude events. He said, three similar events were held in Kota Kinabalu before, but it was not opened as it was in KLCC.
However, the issue is now under investigation by the authorities concerned.
