KUALA LUMPUR: Umno’s Tajuddin Abdul Rahman was suspended today from attending Dewan Rakyat proceedings for four days.
He was ordered by Deputy speaker Nga Kor Ming to leave the Dewan Rakyat for accusing Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Salahuddin Ayub and refusing to follow the speaker’ instructions.
“Pasir Salak (Tajuddin) was given enough room for questions, but he chose to hurl accusations at a minister.
“For me, this had no basis. I asked him to state his question but he remained stubborn, so please escort him out,” Deputy speaker said.
Tajuddin began shouting at the parliament as he was dissatisfied with the Minister Salahuddin Ayub who left the hall before answering his questions.
“It was disrespectful. I represent the people, please have some respect for the people,” he said.
