Tajuddin blames MCA for the downfall of BN in GE14

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman today blames MCA for the downfall of Barisan Nasional government in the 14th general election (May 9).

He said that it was unfair to solely blame Umno for Barisan’s shocking defeat in GE14.

Umno had assisted MCA in its election campaign and had provided financial aid in its programmes prior to the 14th General Election, he said.

But MCA couldn’t convince Chinese voters to support Barisan because the Chinese community had already made up their minds, he added, according to a report by the Star.

Tajuddin has also described Umno members who joined forces with Pakatan as “traitors” to Umno.
