PAS President, Abdul Hadi Awang urges young people to join da’wah and politics, citing “Prophet Muhammad SAW himself was surrounded by a majority of young people when he started the da’wah agenda.”

“Today I am together with students and young people in the Students’ Speech Gathering.

“In the speech, I explained the role of young people which is very important in da’wah and politics.

“Islamic struggle is a long-term struggle. So it becomes an important thing to prepare the layers for the future, ” he said in a post on his Facebook.

He added that this program (Students’ Speech Gathering) would bring together students and young people from all over the country as a platform to understand their needs and exchange views.

Hadi also hopes that, God willing, young people will be a pillar for Perikatan Nasional to face the 6 State Elections that are taking place soon in 6 states in Malaysia.
