Rosmah pleaded not guilty to all charges

Wife of Malaysian ex-PM Najib Razak who was arrested and spent the night in detention last night pleaded not guilty to all charges on Thursday.

Rosmah Mansor charged with 17 offences, including money-laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLATFPUAA) 2001.

She pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Prosecutors sought around RM9million in bail and seized her passport, besides barring her from contacting any witnesses. However, the judge reduced the bail to RM2 million.

She paid RM500,000 in advance before she went back home. And the other 1.5 million is set to be paid before 11th October, 2018.

Her husband Najib, who also making a court appearance today on Thursday, faces 32 charges ranging including money laundering, abuse of power and criminal breach of trust.

Billions of dollars were reportedly missing from the state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) since 2013.
