Rosmah interrogated for 13 hours by MACC

PUTRAJAYA: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor left the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters at about 10.45pm this evening (Wednesday) after her statements were recorded by graft investigators for 13 hours.

The wife of the former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was released after the investigators have completed questioning her.

Accompanying her was her lawyer K. Kumaraendran.

Rosmah 67, is believed to have been interrogated over 1MDB scandal and also money-laundering activities.

It was reported that MACC requested Rosmah to go to Putrajaya this morning (Wednesday) to assist the graft investigators over a fund amounting RM2.6 billion which was alleged to have been deposited into her husband Datuk Seri Najib’s personal account.

On Tuesday (yesterday) MACC officials went to Rosmah’s residence at Taman Duta, Jalan Langgak Duta to serve the notice to her to give statements relating to the case.

This was the second time Rosmah was called by MACC and the first was in June 5 where she was interrogated for five hours relating to the investigation on 1MDB subsidiary, SRC International Sdn. Bhd. –Malaysia World Ne
