A New York jeweller alleged she sold a diamond necklace to Rosmah Mansor with US$23 million.

Schwartz said this in her statement before prosecutors at US court trial against former Goldman Sachs banker Roger Ng.

According to Bloomberg, the sale was arranged by Low Taek Jho also known as Jho Low (in June 2013 ) who contacted the jeweller, Lorraine Schwartz, and ordered a “pink diamond necklace with a heart-shaped gem”.

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s claim in 2018 that the diamond that his wife Rosmah bought was just a gift from United Arab Emirates’ Sheikh Mansour Zayed, according to Malaysiakini.

Schwartz also claimed she personally delivered the necklace to Rosmah while she and Low were on a yacht off the coast of Monaco.

Schwartz also claimed that Rosmah had bought an additional US$1.3 million worth of jewellery in 2014.
