PUTRAJAYA: The government will make payment for Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (BKM) Phase 3 amounting RM2.2 billion to 8.7 million recipients from the B40 group starting 20th Sept. 2022.
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the payment will be credited into the recipient’s account in stages and is expected to be completed by 27th Sept.2022.
Ismail added, the recipients of the BKM consists of households, single senior citizens/no spouse and single and those whose appeal had been approved by BKM.
“For BKM Phase 3, every recipient will receive up to RM900. More than 80,000 recipients’ appeals have been approved by BKM and will receive the payment up to RM2, 350 following the qualification categories including the Additional Cash Aid announced by the government in June 2022.
“Until September 2022, RM5.9 billion have been channelled to BKM recipients via the payment phase that had been fixed while Phase Four amounting RM2.1 billion will be channelled to those qualified by December 2022,”Ismail said in a statement Friday.
Meanwhile the payment status could be made starting 20th Sept.2022 via https://bkm.hasil.gov.my.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the government remains committed in ensuring the prosperity of Malaysian Family specifically the target group with the social safety networks will continue to be focused in Budget 2023. – Malaysia World News
