Public hearing on Israel’s policy in Palestinian territory from 52 countries

RAMALLAH: The International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague has started a public hearing, Monday, on the effect of the law that arises from the Israeli’s policies and practices in the occupied Palestinian territory including East Baitulmaqdis.

The session continues for six days from 19th to 26th February 2024 based on the request of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to obtain the advice from the effect of Israel’s continued occupation for more than 57 years.

According to Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) the court will be listening to 52 countries, a total number that has never happened in the court’s history besides African Union, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League. (WAFA)-Bernama/Wafa
