Proton is determined to drive aspects of creativity and glory towards a more civilized future, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said when attending the launch of the new Proton X90 at MITEC today.
Present at the launch were also the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry in th Tengku Zafrul and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Chang Lih Kang, as well as Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing.
“Now in close cooperation with the Chinese automotive giant Geely, Proton is carefully and wisely sketching its own history armed with the joys and sorrows of the past.
” I am confident that Proton is able to move in line with the demands of the times and the wishes of consumers in addition to being determined to drive aspects of creativity and glory towards a more civilized future,” Anwar said in a post on his Facebook.
Proton has launched the 2023 Proton X90, its first hybrid vehicle, with four variants starting at RM123,800.
