KUALA LUMPUR –The Prophet Muhammad’s character and conduct (peace upon him) who never criticised or cursed and slanderous towards others should be the best example for the people to follow, said Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In the Maulidur Rasul 1445H (Prophet Muhammad’s birthday) message in his Facebook post Wednesday evening, Anwar said, Prophet Muhammad’s struggle to preach the Islamic teachings and guide the people should be used as an example to continue to be strong and consistent even though challenged and pressured by the enemies from all corners.

“His mission shattered tribalism and ignorance guiding the diverse community of Medina toward the light of justice and benevolence.

“Reflecting on the lessons from the Prophet Muhammad’s struggle leading and unifying various communities should awaken a sense of awareness and inspiration for the people to collectively build our beloved nation as a just, peaceful and prosperous state thereby earning Allah’s blessings.’’

Anwar ended his post by praying for Allah to bestow continuous blessings and peace upon Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Meanwhile, the Maulidur Rasul celebration at the national level will be held today (Thursday) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). –Malaysia World News
