Police to refer Raja Petra to AGC in “Dubai Move’s” allegation


KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney General’s Chambers will be referred to by the Police to determine the action to be taken on blogger, Raja Petra Kamarudin in relation to the allegedly involvement of Members of Parliament (MP) in “Dubai Move” to topple the government.

As reported by Astro Awani, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain when contacted said, the founder and the writer of the “Malaysia Today” portal is now in London.

“Raja Petra is not only needed for the investigation of this case but several papers have also been opened for investigation on other cases.

“Besides Raja Petra several other individuals will be called in relation to the allegedly Dubai Move,” he said.

Earlier the police had announced that statements of four individuals related to the “Dubai Move” aimed at toppling the Unity Government led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim were recorded.

The individuals involved include the media social influencer, Badrul Hisham or Che’Gu Bard, Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris or Papagomo or ‘blogger’, Salim Iskandar.
