Police report lodged against three portals spreading fake, slanderous news on PM Ismail

KUALA LUMPUR JAN 31: Three local links namely Agenda Daily.com, The Malaysia Life and DialogRakyat.Blogspot.com have been alleged to have written fake and slanderous news relating to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri’s statement.

Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mohammad Anuar Mohd. Yunus said, the three links/portals have deliberately and unethical have written wrong reports with bad intention and have smeared the good name of the Prime Minister.

“The fake statement was disseminated and had caused worrisome among the people,” said Mohammad Anuar in his report lodged at the Jalan Dang Wangi Police Station here today.

In the report, Mohammad quoted the title in Agenda Daily “Ismail Sabri is worried to be the shortest serving Prime Minister appeals not to pull out support” published on 30th January.2022 and published repeatedly by The Malaysia Life with the title “Ismail Sabri appeals not to pull out support as worry to be the shortest serving PM while from DialogRakyat. Blogspot with the date and same title “Ismail Sabri appeals not to pull out support for worry to be the shortest serving PM.

The report said, the statement has been manipulated by the three portals from what have been said by the Prime Minister when asked by the reporter at an event held in Bera on Saturday 29th January 2022.

“Moreover the reporters from the three portals were not present at the press conference. This report was lodged for the authorities to investigate and take serious action on the owners of the three portals.

“The three portals have manipulated, published and disseminate fake news to the extent of tarnishing the credibility of the Prime Minister and creates worrisome among the people,” said the report. –Malaysia World News
