
Police have arrested three suspects wanted to help in investigations into a shooting incident at a hotel in Bukit Bintang, Kula Lumpur on Tuesday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Azmi Abu Kassim said the suspects, aged 47, 49 and 51, were arrested at 8.15pm yesterday and remanded for 6 days.
Two of the suspects have been remanded for 6 days from 4 May 2022 to 9 May 2022, he said at a press conference at the Media Center, IPK Kuala Lumpur today.
Police have also seized 1 Revolver pistol with 6 bullets, 1 Semi Auto Barreta pistol with 8 bullets and 1 bullet casing, 1 red RS150 motorcycle, 2 green and white helmets, 2 shirts, 2 pair of long pants, 2 pairs of sports shoes, 1 hat, 1 cross bag, and 3 mobile phones of various brands.
Investigations are being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code and if convicted can be sentenced to death.
