KUALA LUMPUR NOV25: Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin affirms that the coalition will not join the “Malaysian Unity Government” led by Pakatan Harapan (PH).
Muhyiddin said, with the spirit to nourish democracy and implement the role of check and balance effectively in the Parliament, PN chooses to stay as an Opposition coalition.
“PN will play its role as a credible Opposition to bring the voices of the people to the Parliament and to ensure the government upholds good governance, integrity and free from corruption in line with the principle “Care, Clean and Stable,” Muhyiddin said in a statement.
Muhyiddin who is also the Member of Parliament for Pagoh added, to ensure political stability and prosperity of the people, PN is ready to venture into other kinds of cooperation that is within the relationship scope between the government and Opposition.
The former Prime Minister also thanked the 10th Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for offering PN to join the Federal Government.-Malaysia World News
