PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urged the West to stop the hypocrisy on Israel’s settlement for several decades besides working towards avoiding public massacre involving the children.
Anwar said, when receiving a courtesy call from the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock and her delegation at his office, Friday, the first section of the meeting was to stress Malaysia’s stand on Palestine and pushing Germany to use its influence to urge Israel to ceasefire and to allow the access of humanitarian aids.
“We had also agreed the needs to push the rights of women and children for education and special focus should be given on it.
“Besides that we have also stated our worries relating to Myanmar’s issues that are still protracted,” Anwar said in his Facebook, Friday.
The prime minister has also stated that among the issues discussed and mutually agreed includes strengthening the economical aspects, education, science and technology, TVET apart from elevating the inter-culture understanding between Germany and Malaysia.
The German Foreign Minister and her delegation are on their visits to South East Asian countries namely the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. – Malaysia World News
