Plane crash: Victim’s families will be given job opportunities – PM Anwar

KLANG AUG18: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim took his time today to meet the victims’ families of the aircraft that crashed in Elmina, Shah Alam yesterday causing 10 people dead.

In a Facebook post, Anwar extended his condolences to the families of the victims involved and consoled them to be patient while going through the hard times.

He said he visited today the families of the victims and made a stop at the Forensic Department, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang.

He told the media that efforts to speed up the forensic process has been taken with the help of many parties such as the state government and Selangor Religious Council.

“The government will do its best to reduce the burden of the victims’ families amongst others the management needs for the remains besides giving job opportunities to the victim’s family who are affected in the crash,” he said.

The Tambun Member of Parliament thanked all the parties involved in managing the victims’ family welfare and have been working hard to ensure everything runs smoothly.

He added, he takes this opportunity to express solidarity, moral and emotional support to the victims’ families.

The aircraft that crashed had killed six passengers and two crew on board as well as a motorcyclist and a motorist at about 2.50pm on Thursday was flying from Langkawi to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang. -Malaysia World News
