Plane crash: Pilot, co-pilot bodies taken out from the cockpit buried two metres underground

KLANG: The bodies of the pilot and co-pilot involved in the aircraft that crashed in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar here today (Tuesday) had been carried out from the location in four wheel drive vehicles belonging to the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) at around 8.00pm.

According to local report, the dead bodies were taken to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) for post mortems.

Earlier the Selangor Chief Police, Datuk Hussein Omar said, the two victims were Malaysians and had been identified as Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon 30, and Roshaan Singh Raina, 42.

Hussein said, the two victims were found in the aircraft cockpit that was buried two metres underground at the location.

He added, 150 people including policemen, fire and rescue team and other related agencies were involved in the search and rescue operations at the location of the plane crash.

Hussein said, further investigations will be conducted by the Transport Ministry’s Air Accident Investigation Bureau.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) in a media statement had confirmed the plane that crashed was a light aircraft BK 160 Gabriel model with registration number I-POOC and operated by Air Adventure Flying Club.

It departed from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Selangor at 1.28pm for a recreational flight.-Malaysia World News
