Once again the Islamic party, PAS has proven they have almost lost their influence on the Malays and Malaysian voters, by winning only one seat out of 15 they contested for under the umbrella of the National Alliance (PN) in the Johor polls yesterday.
According to the official results, Umno-Barisan Nasional has re-captured and taken the Bukit Pasir state seat previously won by PAS candidate Najib Lep, which shows that the Malays prefer UMNO now.
The PAS has also lost recently in the latest polls in Melaka and Sarawak.
PAS failed to win the voters` support despite its leader Abdul Hadi Awang has been campaigning with PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin who was seen attacking BN’s leaders, including Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Najib Razak, throughout the whole campaign period in Johor.
PN and Bersatu have also lost so badly in the Johor state elections – They won only 2 seats.
