KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today slammed Pakatan Harapan (PH) government for not being able to abolish tolls and fulfill their manifesto promises.
“What happened to PH promises to abolish tolls?” He asks
“This is what happens when promises are not made sincerely for the rakyat but just because you are greedy for power,” he said in a post on his Facebook.
Before the election, before PH became the government, they had promised to abolish tolls.
But, today Dr Mahathir said it was impossible to abolish tolls and that he was against the toll-free highways pledge in the PH election manifesto.
“Who would maintain the roads or build new ones if the government was to do away with toll collection,” the Prime Minister asked.- Malaysia World News
