KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob assured that the Parliament will be dissolved once a complete data on the Attitude Study on the coming 15th General Election (GE) is obtained from Wanita Barisan Nasional (BN) .
“We want the data as a reference as we do not want to enter the battle field without an organized and concrete strategy.
“I have high hopes on Wanita BN as they are the BN’s pulses that consistently “fight” in the front line or work behind the scene. We want BN to be the only hope for the people in years to come as it had been proven that only BN could place the people as the priority,” Ismail said in his speech at the Wanita BN Convention held at World Trade Centre (WTC) here Sunday.
The Prime Minister said he wants the convention to be utilised the best possible ways in featuring the direction of the BN machinery that consists of several component parties such as UMNO, MIC, MCA and PBRS.
Ismail emphasized that the GE could be held any time from now and it needs commitment and involvement from all machineries to ensure the victory of BN.
“In framing the work mode, Wanita BN should move as a team with other Wanita from the component parties to reflect togetherness and the strength of the parties to the people.
“The work mode “Jalinan Rakyat” need to be empowered and in line with the technological development and as such Wanita BN should be smart to fit in and get close to the voters and not depending on traditional ways.
“Jalinan Rakyat” should have a complete control on the social media so that messages and government agenda will be received by the voters especially the younger group,” Ismail reiterated.
Ismail added, the people have been under the Pakatan Harapan (PH) Government for 22 months that had been described as the dark era of the country.
He said, BN wanted to implement several development projects for the people but because of the opposition’s revenge politics against BN the people became the victims and the economy of the country had also been affected.
“When the PH collapsed the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government was formed and at the same time the country was facing with COVID-19 pandemic. Later political crisis emerged that resulted PN had to be dissolved.
“I had been given the mandate by UMNO leaders and also BN to take over the leadership of the country until today.
“I have been thought following the ways and the culture of UMNO and BN. We never hesitate to implement any brave and strict decisions as long as it helps the people. That had been followed by the party for many generations. And that has also been my way,” Ismail said.
Ismail said that after citing few examples of how the government managed to recover the national economy after being hit by COVID-19 pandemic for two years. The government had given various forms of financial aids to the people and small entrepreneurs whose businesses had been badly hit by the pandemic.
The Prime Minister had also mentioned on how the government had made decisions in giving out subsidies to selected food commodities in order to control inflation. – Malaysia World News.
