KUALA LUMPUR: The Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Dr. Mohd. Khairuddin Aman Razali was requested to be present at the Bukit Aman Headquarters today (Aug.26) to give a statement relating to his failure to comply with the home quarantine order after returning from Turkey last July.
Deputy Director (Investigation/Legal) Criminal Investigation Department, DCP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the minister will give his statement today, as reported by Bernama.
Earlier Mior Faridalathrash said, Bukit Aman had received 27 reports nationwide relating the matter, and investigations had been done from various aspects.
He said, the Police have opened an investigation paper and further investigations are in progress,” he said as reported by the media recently.
The Ministry of Health had compounded Mohd. Khairuddin RM1, 000 on August 7 for not complying with the compulsory home quarantine standard operating procedure (SOP) after returning from Turkey on July 7.

Regarding Mohd. Khairuddin’s issue, the Security and Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob yesterday said that the case has been forwarded to the police for investigation. –Malaysia World News
