North Korea has successfully tested its biggest long-range intercontinental ballistic missile on Thursday – its first long-range test since 2017.
The ‘monster’ nuclear missile is capable of striking anywhere on Earth, according to reports.
Officials say the launch suggests that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may be creating a missile system capable of striking the U.S.
The White House condemned the launch saying it was a “brazen violation of multiple U.N. Security Council resolutions.”
A statement issued by the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says: “The United States will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of the American homeland and Republic of Korea and Japanese allies.
