Noor: It is not easy for staff to manage the remains of Covid-19 patients

Health Director General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today urged the public to understand the tough responsibilities imposed on the shoulders of frontliners dealing with Covid-19 patients and casualties.

“Since entering the new year 2021, the number of Covid-19 deaths is increasing every day,” he said.

As of 9th January 2021, the cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths reported has been 71 cases.

“It is not easy for staff to manage the remains of Covid-19 patients. They had to wear PPE complete with sweat baths in scorching heat until all pores and finished managing the funeral of the Covid-19 case.

“May we all understand the challenges and trials faced by every front row staff.

Noor also urges the public to come help the frontliners and the country just by taking care of of themselves and their families.
