
KOTA KINABALU – Shirba Auto World Sdn Bhd today launched its Proton 3S Centre at the heart of Tebobon, near Kota Kinabalu.
The then reconditioned cars showroom received a distinct transformation into a sleek 3S (sales, service, and spare parts services) facility complete with PROTON’s corporate identity.
The launch was officiated by Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia, YB Datuk Darell Leiking. Also present at the launch were YB Datuk Haji Aidi Mokhtar, Sabah State Minister of Law and Native Affairs, Dato’ Madani Sahari, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), Dato’ Haji Zainuddin Abd Rahman, President of the Malaysian Association of Malay Vehicle Importers and Traders (PEKEMA), and Mr. Yusry Yusof, PROTON’s Senior Director of Corporate Strategy & Risk Management.
The newly launched PROTON 3S Centre is equipped with 12 service bays and 1 adas bay. Customers will have an ease of mind bringing along their young ones for their next car service as there is a friendly kids corner, on top of that, there is a comfortable customer lounge with light refreshments. Operation hour is between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm daily.
“We are truly honoured and grateful to PROTON Edar Sdn Bhd for entrusting us to carry out the responsibility in implementing and managing this 3S centre. We believe that with this effort, we are able to reduce the unemployment issue around this area and also able to contribute to stimulating the local and national economy while providing healthy competition in the local car industry.” said Rizwan Lassim, Chief Executive Officer of Shirba Auto World Sdn Bhd.
This is the fourth PROTON Service centre in Sabah with 3S centres in Lahad Datu and Sandakan and a 4S centre in Kota Kinabalu. In all there are a total of over sixty 3S centres and over fourty 4S centres across the nation.
Shirba Auto World Sdn Bhd aims to sell 840 units by the end of next year. The company hopes to consistently provide a quality service from its trained team and will continue to grow as dealer of PROTON.
