PUTRAJAYA MAY15: The post-mortem on the late national archery, Haziq Kamaruddin at Kajang Hospital yesterday had found that his sudden death was due to complication of clogged blood vessels of the heart as a result of atherosclerosis change (coronary artery atherosclerosis).
The Ministry of Health (MOH) Senior Consultant Medical Forensic Expert, Datuk Dr. Zahari Noor said, the death of Haziq, 27, was investigated under the Sudden Death Report (SDR) by the District Police Head Office (IPD) Kajang in which directive of the post-mortem had been issued to detect the cause of the death.
“The post-mortem was carried out after the COVID-19 swab test on Haziq had shown a negative result. The result of the post-mortem showed that the cause of Haziq’s death was due to coronary artery atherosclerosis,” Dr. Zahari said in a statement here today.
Dr. Zahari said, further investigations are still going on including several laboratory analysis results. However to date there is no evidence that Haziq’s death is related to the COVID-19 vaccination.
