Court of Appeal judges found Najib Razak’s claim of receiving donation from Saudi Arabia unbelievable.
According to NST, the judges are Datuk Abdul Karim Abdul Jalil, Datuk Has Zanah Mehat and Datuk Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera.
“If there were at all any personal donations there was no reason for it to be deposited in SRC accounts
“The Arab donation story is nothing but a concoction,” said Abdul Karim.
Meanwhile, Court of Appeal upholds its decision that Najib is guilty.
Former Prime Minister, according to reports, has lost his appeal against his conviction and sentence over criminal breach of trust, power abuse and money laundering charges involving the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.
Hundreds of his Supporters were seen gathering outside the Palace of Justice since morning today.
The Court of Appeal was to deliver its verdict on Najib’s bid to quash his conviction, RM210 million fine and 12-year jail term in the RM42 million SRC International case.
The High Court previously sentenced Najib to 10 years’ jail for six charges (three counts each of criminal breach of trust and money laundering), besides 12 years’ jail and a RM210 million fine with an additional five years’ jail if the fine is not paid for the abuse of position charge.
however, today Datuk Seri Najib Razak has successfully obtained a stay of execution for his sentence of 12 years’ imprisonment and RM210 million fine as imposed on him by the Court of Appeal.
