PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says he has now the numbers to form a new government and be the next prime minister.
He said this after Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) decided to support a coalition made of Perikatan Nasional, Barisan Nasional and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to form the new Federal Government following the 15th general election (15th).
“As the chairman, I am confident that I have the support from the Members of Parliament to enable me to be appointed by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong as the 10th prime minister as per the Federal Constitution,” he said in a statement today.
More to Come.
