PUTRAJAYA APRIL 4: The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) urges the Tour Operator Companies (TOBTAB), MM2H companies, spa and leg massage centres (PUK) that are licensed and registered with MOTAC to apply for the Financial Assistance 2022 from 4th-15th April 2022.
MOTAC said, the companies that have missed the earlier date from 1st Mar. – 15th Mar. 2022 should take the opportunity to apply for the Financial Assistance as it has been extended until 15th April.
The ministry in its statement added, MOTAC has found that many tourism operator companies have not applied for the Financial Assistance within the earlier dates.
“MOTAC urges all the qualified companies to take the opportunity and submit the application via online to MOTAC. Any application after 15th April 2022 will not be entertained.
“Further details on the Financial Assistance 2022 including the application link could be accessed at the official MOTAC website www.motac.gov.my. Any enquiries could be forwarded to the nearest MOTAC State Office,” the statement added.
According to MOTAC, the government via the Budget 2022 has announced the Special Financial Assistance to be given to more than 20,000 tourism operators that are registered with MOTAC with an allocation of RM87 million.
“The budget includes all Tour Operator Companies (TOBTAB) MM2H companies .spa and leg massage centres (PUK) that are licensed and registered with MOTAC,” the statement reiterated.-Malaysia World News
