PUTRAJAYA NOV.19: More than one million qualified micro small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will receive the Geran Khas Prihatin (GKP) 4.0 Phase 2 payment of RM500 starting 23rd November 2021under the People’s Protection Package and Economic Recovery (PEMULIH).
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the government is committed to help the Micro SMEs and this RM500 payment is the extension from Phase 1 that was made on September 2021.
Ismail added, on the whole every enterprise involved will receive the payment of RM1, 000 under GKP 4.0 to lessen their financial burden from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This initiative will involve the existing recipients of GKP1.0, GKP 2.0, GKP 3 and new GKP 4.0 recipients with the financial implications amounting to RM500 million.
“The payment will be credited directly to the registered bank account in the GKP system. The checking for the approval of GKP 4.0 status can be made on 22nd November 2021 via GKP Portal, https://gkp.hasil.gov.my,” said Ismail in a statement here today.

The Prime Minister emphasized, the amount allocated that has been and will be channelled to more than one million Micro SMEs since the COVID-19 pandemic started in the country amounts to RM6.08 billion.
“The government hopes the continued cash payment assistance to the qualified Micro SMEs will help the cash flow besides reactivating and recovering their businesses that have been badly affected throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” Ismail reiterated. _ Malaysia World News
