
TAWAU – The body of a senior citizen believed to have been missing since last Wednesday was found in the stomach of a crocodile in the river of Kampung Mas-Mas Nasib Kita here on Sunday (July 23).
The search and rescue operation (SAR) team has been looking for Addi Bangsa, 60, in the river since he was reported missing, as they suspected he was hit by a crocodile, according to Tawau Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief Jemishin Ujin.
According to the witness report, the victim was believed to have been attacked by the reptile when he was going to his boat around 4 am on Wednesday, a spokesman from Fire and Rescue Department was quoted as saying by Borneo Bulletin.
