Kuala Lumpur: A masseuse was arrested in Bidong, Kedah, yesterday after uploading a threatening message against the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The 41-year-old, with a Facebook account named “JoeJebat Tajudin”, was arrested at 2.30pm at Taman Desa Budiman, Bidong by a team of officers from the Kuala Muda District Police Headquarters (IPD), according to local media.
The Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, said the suspect uploaded a threatening message on his Facebook with a caption expecting the Prime Minister’s house to be blown up.
“In the caption, Joe Jebat wrote, ‘It’s ridiculous if there was an explosion like that at the PMX house that oppressed the EPF contributors.
“Hopefully Allah SWT will caput PMX’s life in the near future.. Amen,” he said while reading out the speech at a press conference in Bukit Aman today.
