Malaysian runner Muhammad Haiqal won the gold

NEW CLARK CITY: Malaysian sprinter Muhammad Haiqal Hanafi has won the gold in the men’s 100m final at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium, here today.

He was also crowned South East Asia’s ‘Sprint King’  after hitting the tape with a time of 10.35 seconds.

Thailand runners Sowan Ruttanapon and Chuangchai Bandit won the silver and bronze, recording 10.49 seconds and 10.52 seconds respectively.
