UTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced today that almost all business activities will be allowed to resume operations, starting May 4, on condition they follow the standard operating procedure.
The Malaysian government took the decision after a Cabinet meeting at the Economic Action Council, National Security Council here today.
However, not all economic sectors and businesses will resume operation on May 4, especially those businesses that involve a large number of people.
“I am saying almost all, because there will be some economic sectors and businesses that will not be allowed to operate. These are businesses that involves the presence of a lot of people where social distancing will be difficult to exercise,” he said in a special address on Friday.
