Malaysia hits 22,242 daily COVID-19 cases, the highest since pandemic

PUTRAJAYA AUG.18: Malaysia’s COVID-19 daily cases has hit 22,242 today the highest since the pandemic started last year bringing the cumulative total to 1,466,512.

Selangor is still leading with 6,858 cases followed by Sabah with 2,413 and Pulau Pinang 1,867.

Meanwhile, Kedah has 1,852 new infections, Kuala Lumpur 1,587, Johor with 1,477, Sarawak 1,403, Kelantan 1,251 and 1,036 in Perak.
However in Negeri Sembilan there are 577 cases, Melaka with 579, Pahang recording 675 cases, Terengganu 487, five in Labuan, 25 in Putrajaya and 50 in Perlis. –Malaysia World News
