Malayians today feel every thing they buy is so expensive especially imported products. The cost of living became a concern,  not because of prices hike, but it is because of the low value of the ringgit ( Malaysia currency).

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government would seek ways to resolve the issue of the ringgit’s depreciation which has become a worry  among Malaysians.

Malaysia currency is low because of “the devaluation of the ringgit by certain parties.

“Previously, our currency was quoted at 3.80 against the US dollar, but now it is 4.20.

Due to the depreciation of our currency’s value, everything we buy has become more expensive,” he told the media at an event in Petaling Jaya today.
