Malaysia condemns bomb attack in Bandung causing two killed, 7 injured

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia condemns strongly the bomb attack at the Astana Anyar Bandung, Police Station, West Jawa Indonesia which occurred at 8.20 am, 7th Dec.2022 and killed the bomber and a policeman with seven other policemen injured.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Malaysia records its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Indonesian Government and the families of the death and victims involved in the attack.

“Malaysia hopes the mastermind of the bomb attack will be brought to justice the soonest. Malaysia also prays for a speedy recovery for the victims who had been injured,” said Foreign Ministry in its statement.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta has confirmed that there is no Malaysian reported involved in the fatal incident.
