Malaysia calls for the perpetrators of violent attack in Moscow to be brought to justice -Ministry

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia reiterates its stance to reject all forms of violence that could threaten the peacefulness and safety in any country including the fatal incident at the Crocus City Hall, Moscow, Russia Friday.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said, the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had stated that the rampage has no place in this civilised world.

“Malaysia joins the international community in expressing its condemnation of this horrific incident and reiterates its rejection of all forms of violence that destabilise the peace and security of any nation.

“Malaysia reemphasises its firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations and calls for the perpetrators of this attack to be swiftly brought to justice,” Anwar said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its embassies and offices worldwide, remains committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Malaysians abroad, as well as to advocate for dialogue and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Last Friday, the Crocus City Hall in Moscow was attacked by “terrorist” that had caused at least 60 deaths and more than 145 injured.

The incident happened while the musical group ‘Picnic’ was performing in a concert. –Malaysia World News
